Hail Ramjas was founded by two students of Ramjas College [Deepesh Mishra and Pankaj Singh Raghav] in the December of 2011, starting off as just a blog and Facebook page displaying the latest college news online. Today, as We are celebrating 3rd anniversary, it has already turned into a multi-level online entity with over 1500+ likes on its Facebook page and twice the number of members in its FB Group (which is still on the rise), with growing members and fans on its YouTube channel and Twitter page respectively.
Hail Ramjas was initiated with the intent of providing students an easier access to the latest news and info about the college and the university at the click of the mouse
(instead of swarming around irksome college officials and cluttered notice boards).
With time and encouraging responses, the founders went on to venture into Facebook, so as to enable students to get information all the more easily, integrate, share and make friends online, and display their talents which may include sharing one’s photos, articles, drawings and paintings and similar stuff which often do not get the deserved audience.
Today, Hail Ramjas also has a dedicated YouTube Channel, with Latest videos of various college activities being constantly uploaded, a LiveStream Tab to enable live viewing of important college events online, a Twitter account which also shows latest updates, and accounts in Pintrest which more or less serve the same purposes, but in interestingly different ways.
Hail Ramjas even today continues to evolve, constantly improving its content quality,enhancing interaction among students, striving to provide the most accurate information in the quickest possible time, and enlarging the audience for students’ creative manifestations. As far as future prospects are concerned, Hail Ramjas looks to take on the role of an active and responsible media portal , so as to drive the college towards prosperity; in terms of the college’s social environment and overall reputation of the college.
