DU Admission Process 2012

The Delhi University has started the sale of admission forms for undergraduate courses for 2012.
Common Pre-Admission forms will be available online and offline from 4th June 2012 till 18th June 2012 for General and OBC candidates


The last day to apply is June 18, 2012.
Admission forms will be available at 12 Post office (Head Office) and 10 Colleges.
The Post offices will sell and receive forms from 10.00am- 4.00 pm while colleges from 10.00 am – 1.00 pm.

For Sc/St cadidates:
SC/ST candidates will have to register between June 4, 2012 and June 18, 2012 from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm at four Centre’s:
  • Arts Faculty (North Campus)
  • South Campus
  • Rajdhani College
  • Shyam Lal College.


For Physicslly Hadicapped(PH) candidates:
PH candidates will be registered at office of Dean, Students Welfare from June 4, 2012 to June 18, 2012.


Admission through ECA and Sports quota:
For admission through ECA and Sports quota, candidates have to apply on separate forms of individual colleges.


Cut-off List
DU will declare its first cut-off on 26th June, 2012 and second cut-off will be out after three days on 29th June, 2012. DU will announce total five cut-offs each on the gap of three days. Third cut-off will be out on 3rd July, fourth on 6th July and last fifth cut-off on 10th July, 2012.
Fourth and Fifth cut-off will be declared only for those colleges and programmes where the seats will be available.There are chances that many top colleges will not declare third or further more cut-offs as happened in previous years.
