What is Four Year Undergraduate Programme ?
The New Four Year Undergraduate programme (FYUP) have lots of features as compared to three year programme,but still this four year programme are facing a lots of criticism from the University teachers to big Educationist. Although Vice Chancellor Dr. Dinesh Singh is trying their best to explain the benefits of this four year system through a plethora of interviews but still he is not able to satisfy some Teachers of his own university.

In this New Four year Program students have provision to get different degrees comprising an Honours degree, Bachelors degree and diploma. The best part of this course is that it provides flexibility to the student to drop the course after two year or three year and can continue the remaining courses within ten years.

- Bachelor with honours/B.Tech (4 Academic Years)
- Bachelor (3 Academic Years)
- Diploma (2 Academic Years)
Eleven mandatory
foundation courses are also included in this new program which will be taught
in the first four semesters, in order to develop a good educational base of the
student. Beside, the course is sub divided into Discipline I and Discipline II.
Some Application courses are also a part of it that includes skill based
programs to cultural activities to encouraged value based knowledge and NCC/NSS
sports for adding physical fitness.
In short,
the Four Year Program has not only designed to give only bookish knowledge to
the students but to also make him aware about the current challenges and
problems in real life which ultimately leads to the holistic development of the student.
